Live from Berlin and 3lc posters

The East Side Gallery is the most interesting stretch of the Berlin Wall. It's 1330m long and was turned into a gallery after the fall of the Wall.

Domestic violence against women

Here is the definition of violence against women given by the United Nations:
"any act of gender-based violence that results in, or is likely to result in, physical, sexual or psychological harm or suffering to women, including threats of such acts, coercion or arbitrary deprivation of liberty, whether occurring in public or in private life."

What are in your opinion the factors that perpetuate domestic violence against women around the world and in Italy?

Graffiti : art or vandalism?

Ever heard of Bansky? He’s probably one of the most famous (anonymous) graffiti artists. His subversive images are all over the world, even if most of his production is in England, his country of origin.

Bansky uses the technique of stencil graffiti, which is one of the many types of graffiti. It consists in using “paper , cardboard, or other media to create an image or text that is easily reproducible. The desired design is cut out of the selected medium and then the image is transferred to a surface through the use of spray paint or roll-on paint.” (Wikipedia)

In 2005 Bansky ventured into the West Bank to daub a small section of the 450 mile long barrier that separates Israel from the Palestinian territories with 9 stencilled pictures. Israel sees the barrier as a security wall against suicide attacks, but the UN has declared it illegal.

A walk through the forest
